Changes are afoot in the composition of US Courts. In the past several years, President Bush has had an opportunity to fill approximately 30 percent of federal appeals court seats and nominate one Supreme Court Justice, whose appointment is now being considered by the US Senate. Additional seats on the highest court in the nation may soon become available.
