President Bush had the opportunity to fill over 30 percent of federal appeals court seats and appoint two Supreme Court Justices. President Obama has already had the opportunity to nominate two additional Justices, and has a responsibility to fill the many circuit and district court vacancies with judges committed to core constitutional values.

All of the judges who assume lifetime seats on the Federal bench, will influence the future of reproductive freedom and other civil and individual rights for generations to come.
